I need to make an algebra problem using a cake with the measurements 12 inches by 16 inches and 3 inches thick. There were also 30 guest there and half of the cake was left. I also need the concept being used.

  1. I'm not sure what you are asking.

    Vol. of cake = 12 * 16 * 3

    That half left is 1/2 of the above product.

    The volume eaten by each guest = the half volume/30

    The concept would b e volume?
