The question is "Explain the difference between a filament and a photophore."

I know that a photophore is a machine that an optomitrist uses to find your prescription for glasses, but I am not sure what a filament means.

Please Help!

A photophore is a light-producing organ in certain fishes and other animals while a filament is a conducting wire in a light bulb.

(I had this question to!) (:

thx bro :)

Filaments are electrical photophores are natural

Thank you very much! this was helpful.

i still don't understand

Incandescent light bulbs have a filament, usually made of tungsten wire) inside and the filament glows brightly when electrical current is passed through the wire.
