Please help me !!

Frequently in the distillation of methanol and water, the methanol distillate appears cloudy. To what might you attribute such an observation? Thanks.

I've not had this problem. My best guess is that the methanol was contaminated with oil. Other tutors may have had this problem and can expand on this answer.
