  1. I've answered a couple for you. Now it's your turn. How do you think this problem should be solved?

  2. 3(q+1)-9=23
    3q *3-9=23
    3q*3 -9+9=23+9

    I am not sure what to do with the 3 I think that I am suppose to add 23+9 on the right side. this is where I get confused.
