Could someone please check my diagram of the stage in A Raisin in the Sun?

UP STAGE
a door(either a door(either
Beneatha's + Beneatha's +
Mama's or Mama's or
Walter's + Walter's +
Ruth's bedroom) Ruth's bedroom)

STAGE RIGHT Travis' bed STAGE LEFT

DOWN STAGE
audience

But where should the kitchen be and also am I missing anything else?
Thanks in advance

living room/kitchen of a two-bedroom apartment with a communal bathroom and a window looking out on other tenants' laundry puts us firmly into the 50s period.

Here are pictures of the original design.

I am still confused. Where is the door out of the part of the apartment that the Younger's live? And is my diagram correct so far?(Travis' bed in the middle, the bedroom doors on each side of the stage, and the window to the left of the door on stage left?)

To determine the correct placement of the kitchen in your diagram, you can refer to the script or the stage directions provided in the play "A Raisin in the Sun." These sources typically include details about the layout and set design of the stage.

However, if you don't have access to that information, you can use logical reasoning to make an educated guess. In many household setups, kitchens are typically located near the living area or dining room for convenience. So, it would make sense to place the kitchen adjacent to the living area or dining area on the stage.

Regarding any missing elements, it's difficult to say without more context or information about the specific production or staging intentions. However, some common elements that are often included in stage designs are furniture (e.g., couches, tables, chairs), props (e.g., bookshelf, plants), and any additional entrances or exits not mentioned in your diagram.

To ensure accuracy and completeness, it's best to consult the play script, stage directions, or production team for specific details about the set design of "A Raisin in the Sun."
