    then 2l + 2(12) = 72
    2l = 72 - 24
    2l = 48
    l = 24

    if l > 24 then the perimeter > 72
    but you want the perimeter to be equal to 72, so the length has to be equal to 24.
    Where does the "greater than" come in ?
