  1. Yes. This is 1 electron in the 5s2.
    n= 5
    l= 0
    ml = 0
    ms = one electron is +1/2 and the other electron is -1/2. Technically, these are not exactly +1/2 and -1/2 but the +/- 1/2 are in units of h/2*pi. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
