The length of a rectangle is 4 in. more than twice its width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 32 in., find the width of the rectangle

let x = width
length is then 2x+4
so
2(2x+4)+2x=32
Solve for x
4x + 8 +2x = 32
6x=24
x=4
