Use the table to answer the following questions.

Time (hours) Distance (miles)
2 90
3 135
5 225
6 270
Find the constant of proportionality.

Use the constant of proportionality to write a unit rate for the data in the table.

Write an equation to represent the relationship between time, t, and distance, d.

Help please

v = change in distance / change in time = (135-90)/(3-2) = 45 miles/hr

check with last 2 = (270 - 225) /(6-5) = 45 sure enough
so in for y = m x + b
miles = 45 * hours + b
90 = 45 * 2 + b = 90 + b
so b = 0 and
miles = 45 * hours
or
d = 45 t

v = change in distance / change in time = (135-90)/(3-2) = 45 miles/hr

check with last 2 = (270 - 225) /(6-5) = 45 sure enough
so in for y = m x + b
miles = 45 * hours + b
90 = 45 * 2 + b = 90 + b
so b = 0 and
miles = 45 * hours
or
d = 45 t

get tf back down there zombie

Guys is pretty simple to find the constant proportionality pick any two values out of the graph and divide the "Distance" by the "time" so lets take 2 and 90 as an example and 90 divided by 2 = 45 so c=45 and to check you can just multiply 45 by the time.

Soooo I’m d u m b, so how in a short answer did you get d=45t?

Are you sure

Yeah!!!
