8th grade algebra tips for 5.2.3

A proportion is an equation that states that two ratios are equivalent.

To use cross products, set the product of the first numerator and the second denominator equal to the product of the first denominator and the second numerator.

To find percentage proportion, cross multiply the numbers you have and divide that number by the number that you have left
EXAMPLE
?/15 = 25/100
15*25 = 375 = 100*?
? = 3.75
