In three to five sentences, explain how graphics are useful in informational texts. Use at least two examples of texts and graphics that would be helpful in your response

This is what I got and I would like people to use it as an example of what to write as their work:

Graphics are visual aids that help to drive our understanding of an informational text. It has often been said that "a picture is more than a thousand words," and so they (graphics) help to explain complex things in simple ways using little words.

For example, the total number of students at a school for the last three years if shown graphically using charts would make it easier to see whether there has been an increase or decrease.

Your welcome!!

you thought him a lesson I wonder how he thought about that

Dear readers,

How foolish and unprofessional of me putting their instead of there.
Like I said I did not major in ELA or Grammer my son was wondering why I was typing so vigorously and he went over to see what I wrote and he laughed so loud, I thought him a lesson and he would never laugh again.

Sincerely,
Dr. Mike Rodic Ph.D M.D D.M Psy.D

P.S. That was a joke at the end no one should hurt anyone

please answer

I need help

i dont get koolkid's answer, what does he mean?

@Jazz i hope that’s a joke lmao

Hello, this is my response and hopefully it helps you understand. I do not know if this is correct but this is how I personally see it.

Graphics are useful in informational texts because it furthers our understanding of the topic using a visual aid. A visual aid is an easy way to make something complex a lot easier to understand. Let me use an example, say you were reading about how the Mona Lisa has imperfections in the portrait, instead of the author trying to type out every detail of the portrait he could just provide the photo which helps the author explain it and the reader understands it!
