In a sample bag of M&M's , there are 5 brown, 6 yellow, 4 blue, 3 green, and 2 orange.

1. WHat is the probility of getting 3 yellow M&M's if 3 are taken at once?
a. 1/57
b. 20/285
c. 1/1140
d. 0

2. What is the probability of getting 1 brown and 2 orange M&M's if 3 are taken at a time?
a. 5/228
b. 1/57
c. 1/228
d. 5/486

I think the first one is b and the second one is a? I'm not sure please explain it to me

#1: 6/20 * 5/19 * 4/18 = 1/57

#2
chance of (brown,orange,orange) = 5/20 * 2/19 * 1/18
but the brown can happen in any of three places, so the final probability is
3(5/20 * 2/19 * 1/18) = 1/228

Too bad you couldn't be bothered to show your work - just guessing is not a good strategy.
