solve the following equation: x/x-2 + x-1 / x+1 = -1

Please help!

I assume you mean

x/(x-2)+(x-1)/(x+1)=-1

Denominator is (x-2)(x+1)

x(x+1)+[(x-1)(x-2)]=-[(x-2)(x+1)]

Expand and simplify both the LHS&RHS it boils down to

2x²-2x+2=-[x²-x-2]

2x²-2x+2=-x²+x+2

3x²-3x=0

3x(x-1)=0

3x=0
x=0

I got one value what is the other now?
