Solve by factoring 2w^2-11=-12
I'm having a super hard time with factoring....can someone plz help?

    I shall assume you mean
    2x^2 - 11x = -12
    2x^2 - 11x + 12 = 0
    (2x-3)(x-4) = 0
    x = 3/2 or 4

  4. 2x^2 - 11x + 12 = 0
    A*C = 2*12 = 24 = -3*-8. sum = -11 = B.
    2x^2 - (3x+8x) + 12 = 0
    x*(2x-3) -4(2x-3) = 0
    (2x-3)(x-4) = 0
    2x-3 = 0, X = 3/2.
    x-4 = 0, X = 4.
