I NEED HALP

What is the slope of the line that passes thro these pair of points
(-4.1,7.4), (4.3,3.2)
A -2
B 2
C -0.5
D 0.5

also another question i have is find the slope of the line.

the answers are, 1/5, -1/3 -3, 5
idk how to show pictures so i will do my best to describe the line.
it starts at positive 4 on the y axis, and steeply decreases to inbetween pos 1 and 2 on the x-axis, but slightly closer to the 1 than 2, and goes on.

Just do the arithmetic:

slope = (3.2 - 7.4)/(4.3 - (-4.1) )
= ...

oh nvm so the answer is -0.5? Thanks!

To find the slope of a line that passes through two points, we can use the formula:

slope = (change in y-coordinates) / (change in x-coordinates)

Let's label the points as follows:
Point 1: (-4.1, 7.4)
Point 2: (4.3, 3.2)

Now, we can calculate the change in y-coordinates and change in x-coordinates:

Change in y-coordinates: 3.2 - 7.4 = -4.2
Change in x-coordinates: 4.3 - (-4.1) = 4.3 + 4.1 = 8.4

Now, we can calculate the slope:

slope = (-4.2) / (8.4) = -0.5

Therefore, the slope of the line that passes through the given pair of points is -0.5.

So, the correct answer is C: -0.5.
