(1+y)/(2y)-(3x+1)/(y)=0
the LCD is 2y, so that gives you
(1+y)/(2y) - 2(3x+1)/(2y) = 0
Assuming y≠0, that means
(1+y) - 2(3x+1) = 0
1 + y - 6x - 2 = 0
y = 6x + 1
Unless you have some value for x or y, that's as far as you can go.
