REPOST: Left-handers for Mano

This was originally posted on another student's thread.

plz help me find the right answeres please
Did you know that just 10% of the population is left-handed? A scientist doesn’t know why some people are lefties. Genetic seems to be responsible about 25% of the time, but even identical twins, who share the same genes, can sometimes have differing dominant hands. People believe left-handed can affect many things- your performance in school, your skills at sport, and even how much money you make. There are plenty of theories about what determines which hand you write with, but a growing number of experts believe it’s random. Mixed handers – people who use both hands equally – appear to be more different from people who favor one over the other. In comparison, the difference between righties and lefties are minimal.

Which of the following statements restates the main idea of the passage?

Most scientists believe that handedness is genetic

Identical twins are more likely to have the same dominant hands

There is a lot of research about mixed - handedness

Right – or left-handedness doesn’t really affect the outcome of people lives

Which of the following details from the passage supports the main idea?

Just 10% of the population is left-handed

Many theories exist about what determines handedness

A growing number of experts believe handedness is random

Mixed -handers differ more from people who favor one hand over the other
