  2. Th upper bound has to deal with accuracy of the decimal place. SO looking at your question the upper bound for 6.1 one is 6.15 because you want to try to get it as high as possible without being to close to 6.2. same for 8.1 is 8.15
    6.15 * 8.15 = 50.1225
