What is the composite figure? There is this trapezoid that has a triangle on the side. the base of the trapezoid is 17cm and the base of the triangle is 19cm, the height of trapezoid is 22 cm and 10cm on the other side, and the top of the trapezoid is 17cm. Please help me.

  1. well, it sounds like a trapezoid with a triangle.

    Except that you seem to be saying that the top and bottom bases of the trapezoid are both 17 cm. That makes it a rectangle.
    Also, is the base of the triangle one of the sides of the trapezoid?

    Why not say something like
    You have trapezoid ABCD and triangle BCE
    and name the various sides and their lengths.

    And after all that, just what is it you want to know about the shape? It's a trapezoid with a triangle...
