  2. Basically you just need to figure out which of the numbers is between -3 and -1.

  4. nope. stop guessing.
    First, the number has to be negative.

    If you can't recognize it just by looking at the values,
    get out your handy number line and mark the points given in the sequence.
    Then check the choices to see which one lies between -3 and -1.
