The angles opposite the congruent sides of an isosceles triangle are congruent. Find the value of x in the triangle. Show all your work.

one part of the triangle is 70 degrees

can someone help me

i don't know how to start

hard to say, with no explanation of the figure.

If x is one of the congruent angles, then you should know what it is.
If it is the 3rd angle, then it is naturally 180-2x
as for the sides, who knows?
You ask a lot with only what you gave us.
I will say that the sides opposite the congruent angles are also congruent with each other.

Other than that, I'm out of ideas.

So two of the sides are the same angle and one is different, right? I need to know the angle of the different one to do the problem.

The total of all three sides of the triangle is 180. Find out witch side x is, add up the other two. Subtract that from 180 and there is your answer.

Hope that helped.

ya but if 180 is the anser than divide 70 and 180

wha- ...... uhhhhh... pls explain better or sumthing.... i dumb '_'

Bro help. Instead of just commenting useless stuff, give the answer. You're dumber than I am.
