  1. I have an issue with D, and it depends on the meaning of a good, moral life. If good and moral is predominatly cultural (like what to eat, when, civil punishment (ie, supporting death penalty) or economic (rejecting people because of race or gender), then Jesus upset the good moral folks in his time. Jesus Inverted Common Moral Ideas in his time. He had very clear moral standards which were derived from “the Law and the Prophets,” … Problems arose because the cultural patterns and the powerful people were not accustomed to those standards and were unwilling to move toward them. Remember he drove good moral people out of the temple.

  2. ok but your wrong those good moral people were selling and buying goods in his temple. the bible says the house of god is a house of prayer and worship. i strongly dis-agree with your statement but remember when Jesus says a good moral life that means be kind to people, respect one another, don't steal, don't kill. basically the opposite of your version of living a good moral life that's my point.

  3. YOU need to remember that the people Jesus threw out of the temple were not Christians, following Jesus' teachings! Jesus hadn't had time to teach yet, and these people were acting according to common practice, not prayer and worship.
