I'M IN 6 GRADE PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW TO RENAME FRACTIONS TO DECIMALS AS EASY AS YOU CAN

You divide the fraction by the the number at the top by the number at the bottom and get a decimal

For example

5
--- = 6 doesn't go into the 5 so we add a 0 and a point and then we add a zero beside the 5 to make ot 50 ,6 goes into the 50 8 times and what is left should be 2 which we then add a zero beside it to make 20. 6 goes into 30 3 times and your answer is

0.83

Try these and I'll check them for you
