Solve each problem and write your answer in Scientific Notation.

What is the product of (5.1 × 103) • (3.2 × 103)?
A. 16.32 × 106
B. 1.632 × 107
C. 16.32 × 109
D. 1.632 × 1010
I think it is D.

The answers are...

B
A
D
B

5.1*3.2 x 10^(3+3) = 16.32 x 10^6 = 1.632 x 10^7

when multiplying numbers you add the exponents, not multiply them.

B/ 1.632 x 10^7 is the answer

I can confirm: I give the right answers :) is correct!

How is 3+3=7 fellas? 😂

It is A cuz Steve said it but he wrote 7 instead 6 plus how u got 16.32×10^6 then u say the answer was 1.632×10^7

The correct answer is 16.32×10^6 not yours Mr. Steve
Thank me later

thank you "i give right answers" i got 100

Makes no sense. 5.1x3.2= 16.32X10^6

I know this question is old but for future notice only

How do you guys not understand? It has to be less than ten to be in scientific notation so you move the decimal over 1 place meaning you also add a power to the ten. Do the mathbook before you cheat 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
