  1. If the primary auditory cortex has not formed, she cannot hear at all. There would be no neurons to sense the impulses coming from her auditory nerves or any other source.

    A or E would result from damage to the auditory nerve from her ear or to the ear itself (e.g., tympanic membrane, ossicles).
