How many plant should my uncle need to plant around his farm of a circular shape of a radius 140 m, If the distance between plants is 50cm?

  1. the obvious answer, though probably not technically correct, is gotten by dividing the total area by the area required by each plant. That would be

    π*140^2 / π*0.5^2 = (140/0.5)^2 = 78,400

  3. ooops - my bad. So, divide the circumference by the plant's diameter.
