  1. make sure you follow the order of operations
    4 + 3(10 - 2^3)
    = 4 + 3(10 - 8)
    = 4 + 3(2)
    = 4 + 6
    = 10

how did you get 11 ??

  3. You probably did 3^2 instead of 2^3
