4 + 3(10 - 2^3) A)8 B)10 C)11**** D)12

make sure you follow the order of operations 4 + 3(10 - 2^3) = 4 + 3(10 - 8) = 4 + 3(2) = 4 + 6 = 10 how did you get 11 ??

lets just say exponents hate me.....a lot....and that somehow my calc said 9 and not 8 so thank you greatly.......

You probably did 3^2 instead of 2^3 --- neither one of which requires a calculator

Thanks BTW I have a sis waiting to play so a calc is the fastest way to go right now
