Write an algebraic expression for the word phrase.
10 times the product of g and h
A.10(g + h)
B.10(g – h)
C.10 (g ÷ h)
D.10gh
So its D, steve
I need help with the whole quiz
read it as
10 times (the product of g and h)
I assume you know what "product" means ...
correct
All I did was show you how to take a breath and look at what they are really asking. You know it will be something that you know how to do, so the trick is to make the problem something that's familiar, by cutting through the noise to the real issue.
me too
Thanks Steve you really helped me
me three
me four
1- 34, 40
2- 1080
3. 56
4- 1,665
5- x = 15x + 30, 1 = 45, 2 = 60, and 3 = 75
6. 10gh
7- 2n
8 - 5.3
9 - 14
10 - 22.3
11 - 15
12- ( 55.30 + m = 87.95, m = 32.65 )
13. x - 58 = 142
14- 8c = 66, c = 8.25
15. 20.8
16. 12 x ( 6 + 3 )
17. x^5; the base is x and the exponent is 5
18- n / 9 = 9 n = 81
19. 1 x 10 to the SIXTH power, 1 x 10^6
The rest are independent but all I can say is that these should be your answers I believe. My teachers haven't graded mine so just do these on your own and try!
20. For this one it should be (30 x 5) + (9 x 5) = 39 x 5. Answer to both is 195.
21. They subtracted -28 from -28 and got -56 instead of adding 28 to -28 on both sides to get 0. The answer for this should be 403. ( Show your work on how you got 403. )
22. She pattern to these is to add 0.09 to each number. The next 3 terms should be 0.93, 1.02, and 1.11.
Hope this helped! :)
