What is the difference between sin and sin theta?
"sin" is often used as a shorthand way of writing sinθ
technically, "sin" by itself is just the name of the function, and it has no value until a θ is specified.
Sometimes when manipulating a long equation or expression, the θ is assumed throughout, and not written just out of laziness.
