C/4-5=4 (c over 4) Please explain how to do this, its a written answer questen and I have no idea how to do it at all..
c/4 - 5 = 4
add 5 to get all the c stuff on one side:
c/4 = 9
now multiply by 4 to clear the fraction:
c = 4*9
c = 36
Let me help you a bit (Thank Steve, too.)
You have the equation c/4-5=4.
We don't want to bother the c, so we need to get rid of the 5 first. It will be like this:
c/4-5=4, the five swoops to the other side as adding, so c/4=5+4, and the finish is c/4=9.
Now let's move the 4 to the other side, doing c=9*4, and finish, c=36.
C=36, hope this helps.
Ahahahaha. Oops.
its a "Solve the equation" if anyone is wondering
Got it. So 4*5 equals 9? Hm, very funny. Do you mean to say 4+5, by any means on Planet Earth?
TY guys so much! π π
Hello is right. Steve is right.
But in an ANOTHER version yet, let's do this.
c/4-5=4 -------> c/4=4*5 ------> c/4=9 -------> c=4*9 -------> c=36
