5) What is the area of a rectangle whose sides are thrice as long as the sides of a smaller rectangle whose area is 18 cm^2?
6) what is the median of the following numbers: -3, -3 1/3, 3.2, 3 1/2, - pi and 3.25
7) if x + -2 and y=3, find the value of x^2y + x^2y
With such a variety of questions, this looks like a test or an assignment.
We don't do those for you.
I will do one, which I think might give you trouble, the others you should be able to do by checking with your notes where you did similar problems

x^2 : 27 = 9 : x^3
x^2/27 = 9/x^3
x^5 = 243
notice that 9 = 3^2, and 27 = 3^3
so 243 = 3^5
so you have x^5 = 3^5 ---> x=3
or
form x^5 = 243
take the fifth root of 243, which is 3
