TRIANGLE HELP!!!! (MATH!)

The two triangles above are similar.

a. Find x using the ratio of the sides 12 cm and 16 cm: x/20 = 12/16 Show your work.

b. Find x using the ratio of the sides 6 cm and 8 cm. Show your work.

c. Explain why the answers to (a) and (b) should be the same.

(The small triangles left side is X and the big triangles left side is 20. The small triangles right side is 6 and the big triangles right side is 8. The small triangles bottom is 12 and the big triangles bottom is 16)

  3. a) 1. x/20 = 12/16 2. 12 * 20 = 240 3. 240 / 16 = 15 4. (doublecheck) 15 * 16 = 240 x = 15
    b) 1. x/20 = 6/8 2. 6 * 20 = 120 3. 120 / 8 = 15 4. (doublecheck) 15 * 8 = 120 x = 15
    c) In A and B x should equal the same number because in both you are looking for x and it cant magically change its value

  15. You shouldn't use God's name in vein that's very offensive to Christian and all other religions who follow jesus/god.
You wouldn't want anyone else using your gods name in vein so don't do it to others is all I'm saying 😊
