question 1: there is no square root of neg numbers..if there would be.. it will have an imaginary part or in here square root of 7 X i where i is equal to square root of negative 1
in short i got no idea.. if it is 7 x i.. it would be -2.646 which is closer to 8.
i mean closer to -8 if based from the choices...
It said " the negative square root of 7" ---> -√7
not " the square root of negative 7" ---> √-7
ok but still -2.646 is closer to -8 if the choices given is the only choice
