math

underwater pressure can be found using the formula

p=L+d/33

where p is the pressure (in atmospheres), and d is the depth of the water in feet. If a scuba diver is experiencing 3.4 atmospheres of pressure, what is the depth of the diver?

The L is really one.

P= 1 + depth/33

solve for depth..
depth= 33(P-1)
