How does the boldness Odysseus shows in the Cyclops’s cave drive subsequent plot events?

A)Several of Odysseus’s men are eaten.
B)Odysseus and his men spend the night in the Cyclops’s cave.
C)Odysseus gives the Cyclops wine to drink.
D)Odysseus and his men blind the Cyclops.

I think that it is b or d

the answer is -Odysseus and his men blind the Cyclops-

Your answer is D

THis whole situation is !@#$%^&ed up

ya i read the story a while ago, but what does the cyclops dad have to do with this question?

does anyone know the answer then?

The problem with this question is this phrasing: "drive subsequent plot events." All four of these choices involve what happens IN THE CAVE, not any of the future events.

What O's cleverness and boldness did was inspire his remaining men to stick with him, through thick and thin (as the saying goes).

How does where they spent the night have anything to do with subsequent events? What happened later that was caused by something to do with the Cyclops? I reject b as an answer.

Um,who was the Cyclops's father, who later took revenge on Odysseus because of what Odysseus did to Cyclops?

so its d?

I'm confused

he blinded the cyclops, sorry I get it now Poseidon was his dad

thanks for the help reed

What are you confused about, luke? What did Odysseus do to the Cyclops? Why was Poseidon mad at him enough to cause storms at sea for Odysseus? Have you read the story?
