Which one has more hydrogen bonding- ethanol or methanol

  1. They both have very similar hydrogen bonding, considering that each only has 1 Oxygen. As far as intermolecular forces go, Ethanol has stronger IMF's due to being a larger molecule with more electrons, which makes it more polarizable. (Greater London Dispersion Forces)
