What are two major differences in the composition of the inner and outer planets?
I know that the inner planets are small, hard, and rocky, and the outer planets are large and gaseous. What is another difference?
So a good answer would talk about the inner planets having few moons, hard rocky surfaces and no rings. The outer planets have lots of moons, gas surfaces, and rings?

Skip the moons. You just need to show the differences in their compositions.
(What are 2 major differences in the composition of the inner and outer planets)
1 : They have more mass, and have more gravity to hold for their atmospheres
2 : Their more farther from the Sun. The solar winds have cleaned out (or stripped) out the atmospheres until their was barely anything left leaving them more weaker (or not as strong)
You're very welcome. :-)
