1. A. You would add the number of coins there are (8+6=14) and then find what the question is asking for, which is the probability of removing a blue coin. The answer would be 8/14.

B. You would subtract one blue coin (8-1=7) and add three red ones. (6+3=9) You would find the probability the same way as A. :-)
