Which of the following economic activities flourished in the Middle colonies?

Wheat farming, because the region had fertile soil and a mild climate

So what was the answer ?

Yes, I am only allowed to pick one. So am I right?

ms sue, you are wrong. I ended up getting a 65 on my test because I trusted you to help me. You have failed me, ms. sue. I'm starting to doubt if your real name is even ms. sue.

Are you only allowed to pick one?

No gold,few slaves

but area was known as a breadbasket and indeed shipbuilding was major.

Thank you. :-)

Zms

u guys are fake

Yes, you're right.

Damon and Ms. Sue are right, and so are you, but the middle colonies were major exporters of wheat and other crops. Shipbuilding was also important, but if I was writing this question or teaching about the colonial era, I would note that shipbuilding was VERY important in New England, a little less so in the middle colonies. Which of the two answers in the question will be considered correct is open to question until you post your answer and find out. It's a bad question.
