My thousandths digit is twice the tenths digit. My tenths digit is one less than the hundredths digit. If my hundredths digit is 5, what's my number? January 5, 2016 by Sandra

  1. a*1000 + b*100 + c*10 + d

    a = 2c
    c = b-1
    b = 5 then c = 4 and a = 8
    so
    8,54d
    You said nothing about the ones digit.
