What is wrong with an oldfashioned note? Or even a note via email?
To me, note is the thing to do.


Yes, I know, the purists will say a note is an informal letter. That still is the best choice to me.


I think it all depends if you want it short and sweet and right to the point then memo is the way to go if not then write a letter!


I want to write a memo to my boss, Mr Wonder requesting three weeks' paid vacation for next month. However, after a first day's work, I decided that I need a break.
