A bird flying at 3m/'s west is given an acceleration of 1ms after five seconds what I'd it's velocity and how far has it travelled from its starting point?
Vf = Vo + a*t = 3 + 1*5 = 8 m/s.
d = Vo*t + 0.5a*t^2.
