First off, it isn't a poem - it's a (rather bad, ungrammatical and pretentious) lyric by some group called Good Charlotte. Try reading something that's actually literature.

Some of the symbols are "shooting signals in the air", "Walls", "miles away", "eve of my deathbed". Additionally, "eve of my defeat" would have the same significance. This person is comtemplating his/her possible suicide....and is crying out for help.
