Why are gas prices go up besides the war?

  1. I don't think gas prices are up because of the war. I haven't read any substantial explanation of high gas prices -- but the basic laws of supply and demand seem to fit. People around the world are using more and more gasoline. There's more demand for a limited resource so prices rise.
