And, Damon, television was invented in 1927, but the technology for transmitting it was non-existent. It was introduced to the general public at the New York world's fair in 1939, but WWII put it on the back burner until after the war.

I'm I right

Damon, small electrical appliances did appear and become popular in the '20s. Toasters, waffle irons, etc., and electric washing machines and vacuum cleaners. There were a lot more after WW II, but I've seen ads and even antiques from the 1920s. And electricity was available and popular in cities long before the 1920s, but didn't get to most rural areas until the Rural Electrification Administration (REA)in the 1930s. My family and community didn't get electricity until 1939. But, as I told Xena, we don't know what her text says.

On #2 the answers are The Automobile, Electricity, and Small household machinery.

1 and 3 are correct. One of yur choices on #2 is wrong. I don't know what your text says about electricity. It was already common in cities before 1920, but not at all in rural areas until the 1930s. And the automobile began to be affordable for average people after Ford's Model T was introduced in 1908, but didn't become widely popular until after World War I, so that might be right. Television? Look that one up, please. And go with your text on this question. But television is definitely wrong.

Good luck, Xena! :)

1. agree - roaring 20s until Oct 1929

2. NOT TV - happened when I was in elementary school LOL
Electricity yes.
stuff like washing machines was mostly after WW2. I remember rollers turned by hand to squeeze water out of laundry from tub. I suppose you could count that in which case you are right.

3. Yes, google "flapper" :)

We checked all three.
