Which explains why the sequence 64, 4, 1/4,... is arithmetic or geometric?

A. The sequence is geometric because it decreases by a factor of 1/16.

B. The sequence is arithmetic because it decreases by a factor of 1/16.

C. The sequence is geometric because it decreases by a factor of 4.

D. The sequence is arithmetic because it decreases by a factor of 4.

My Answer: B??? I have no idea... Please Help?

Ok me saying "No idea" is just a metaphor for me saying "I do know, its just that I need a little more help understanding". I am smart its just that this unit is hard and no matter how much I study, I doesn't help.

I get that it's annoying but sometimes, it doesn't mean what you think all the time. People just need help once in a while but thank you anyway.

I post the answer later when I'm done

and he was never seen again

some say he is still trying to finish his test today.

IT IS B

Answer is B trust me

what was the answer?

She never came back either- ;-;

ima trust Jzzz ima come back when I have the answer

I think its B i tell after i take it

must have got good grade

whats the damn answer tho? lmao

Answer: B.)

(The sequence is arithmetic because it decreases by a factor of 1/16.)

My explanation:

Arithmetic means for a list of numbers to have a defined pattern. In other words, if you take any number in the sequence and subtract it from the previous one, and the result is always the same, (constant) then it is an arithmetic sequence.

The answer is not geometric because a geometric sequence is an ordered list of numbers in which each term after the first is found by multiplying the previous one by a fixed non-zero number called the common ratio. Also known as a geometric progression. (None of the numbers are like this)

Legend has it Angel is still trying to complete that test 7 years later, to this very day...

dff

Anonymous is correct! Checked my answer against his correct! Thank you Anonymous!!!

ig theyre really an angel now then, arent they?

amogusus

This was hilarious Lmao

yall I think Angel died...

or a bad one

Looks more like A to me. You noted the constant ratio, but that is a mark of a GP, not an AP.

If you truly have no idea, you clearly need to review what it means to be a geometric or arithmetic sequence.

It's annoying when someone comes asking for help, saying that they have no idea about the topic. Study first, then ask for help.

The answer Is C
