y= -5x – 4

B (7, -39)
C (-7, 31)
D (8, -44)
I don't know how to solve it?
The answer would be A. (10,-52)
what are the rest of the answers??
yall seniors now LOL bro i cant beilve this question was asked in 2015 in same grade as me lol
substitute x (first number in parentheses) into the right-hand side of the equation and check if the value equals y (second number in parentheses).
For example, let's check (9,-48) which is not taken from the choices:
-5(9)-4=-45-4=-49
but -49 does not equal -48, so (9,-48) is not a solution of y=-5x-4.
why u have to do caps
this thread has descended into madness
It would be C
Thank You So Much
