A runner moving at a speed of 7.7 m/s rounds a bend with a radius of 21 m. What is the centripetal acceleration of the runner?

My teacher doesn't explain anything very well and I don't understand how to figure it out.

1. Use the formula for centripetal acceleration.

a = v²/r

Friction exerts the force or power.
