    We have rθ = 8000, so
    θ = 8000/6371 = 71.9°

    Y is at 20.6°E 35.1°S

    Now, at latitude Ø, the radius of the circle of latitude is r' = r cosØ
    So, r' = 6371 cos 35.1° = 5210 km
    At that latitude, 8000km is 88.0°
