If the legs of a right triangle have lengths of 6 inches and 8 inches, what is the length of the hypotenuse in inches?
A.11
B.13
C.10
D.16
Is the answer C?
The answers are
C
D
B
C
100%!
Yes the answer is c because you have
6×6=36 then you have 8×8=64
Now you add 36+64=100 now you see what can go into 100 equally which is very easy and then the answer will be 10.
Ya they are correct, for the words they are,
1. 10
2. 9
3. 12
4. 8

If you had the Pythagorean Theorem assignments from Connexous, one of the slides gives you directions on where to go for the directions. But, if you can no longer see it, you will find the directions in the assignment "Estimating Irrationals" on slide 4. You can also click the link one that same slide in the Pythagorean Theorem assignment that brings you to directions.
Hope this helps you guys with completing that assignment. I'm not allowed to post URLs, so I can't sadly give you the link to the directions, sorry.
